Joerg Ambrosius, executive vice president of State Street, is president of Investment Services (IS), and is a member of State Street’s Executive Committee, the company’s senior-most strategy and policy-making body. In addition to these roles, Joerg manages international operations and chairs the Supervisory Board of State Street Bank International GmbH, the firm’s European Bank.

As president of Investment Services, State Street’s largest business, Joerg leads all client-facing activities, with a focus on delivering financial and strategic objectives for our clients. He has global oversight for client management, sales, product, marketing and sustainability. He is accountable for strategy, execution and management of the client experience.

Prior to this appointment, Joerg served as State Street’s chief commercial officer and head of our European businesses, where he advanced financial and strategic outcomes for clients while strengthening global sales and client management capabilities. He brings more than 30 years of experience in financial services, with a proven track record of delivering results and consistently addressing the needs of institutional investors. Prior to joining State Street, Joerg held various roles at Deutsche Bank AG in Frankfurt and London.
