Chris Rowland is executive vice president and head of Custody, Digital and Fund Services Product.
In his role, Chris is responsible for establishing the strategy, setting the investment roadmap, and managing the P&L of products provided to our institutional investor clients. He also has responsibility for State Street’s Network Management team and setting strategy for State Street’s network of 50 Bank relationships.
Prior to joining State Street, Chris worked at J.P. Morgan for 22 years where he was product executive for Custody and the head of EMEA Securities Services, as well as serving on subsidiary bank boards in EMEA. Chris has also worked at BNP Paribas Securities Services for five years where he led the Global Relationship Management team for Financial Institution (FI) clients and Direct Custody sales for the United Kingdom.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in history and politics from Swansea University. He is a serving board member of Proxymity and of ISSA (International Securities Services Association).
