Joerg Ambrosius is executive vice president and chief commercial officer, responsible for achieving financial and strategic objectives for clients, as well as building and enhancing our sales and client management capabilities globally. In this capacity, he has global oversight for our client relationship and client service teams, as well as our Global Sales, Global Client Experience and Global Marketing teams, and all client-facing activity within our Investment Services business.

Additionally, Joerg is responsible for our international organization and is chair of the Supervisory Board of the group’s European Bank, State Street Bank International GmbH. He also serves on the Executive Committee, the company’s most senior strategy and policy-making team.

Most recently, Joerg was executive vice president and head of our European business.

He has been in the financial industry for more than 30 years, focusing on the needs of asset managers and institutional investors.

Joerg joined State Street in 2001. He started his career at Deutsche Bank AG where he held various positions in Frankfurt and London.

He studied business administration at the University of Siegen.
