Program Highlights

Volunteer Projects
Spirit of State Street volunteers participate in a number of one-day opportunities, from sorting food items at the Greater Boston Food Bank to cooking and serving the homeless at Father Bill's Place.

Our volunteers work with a number of populations in a variety of capacities. Each project is set up and run by a project leader, who provides the details and arranges carpooling options for volunteers, if necessary. Most of our projects are on the small side, and call for 5 to 15 people.

The Spirit of State Streets hosts an annual volunteer recognition event every fall at the State Street Financial Center. This event brings alumni and State Street leadership together to celebrate the individual and collective achievements of our alumni.

The Spirit of State Street also hosts outreach breakfasts for alumni twice a year that help alumni connect, learn about other volunteer opportunities and register for upcoming events.
